Zbrush Dredd.
A while back, a gentleman called David Gonzalez contacted me and asked if he could have a go at creating a Zbrush version of my 'Judge Dredd versus Judge Death' commission picture. I told him it was okay to go ahead. Here is the finished CG model.
It looks pretty damn fine to me. Follow this link to the CGSociety website to see more pictures of David's amazing sculpt .
Also, here's David's sculpt on a CG 'turntable'. Very impressive work, Mr. Gonzalez.
All clever stuff. I'd like to have a go with that Zbrush software someday, but at around £500 I guess I'll have to start saving, sigh.

Couch Potatoes: The Return
Well, they returned a few weeks back now, but due to my tardy nature I'm only now posting about it.
JUDGE DREDD: PERSISTENT VEGETATIVE STATE,
was a two part Dredd story written by Gordon Rennie and featured those lovable potato men (or women. It's so hard to tell). These odd characters first appeared in 2000ad way back in...er, well it was a long time ago for sure. Maybe someone can tell me in 'comments'?
My preliminary sketches for the cover can be seen over on Pete Wells' blog. Special mention for Dylan Teague who did a fantastic job on colouring this cover as well as the strip. Thanks, Dylan.

Tank Girl & Booga
It's been a while since I posted, so here's something I did a few months back.
I drew this for fellow comic creator Rufus Dayglo as a way of saying thanks for sending some work my way.
